Leeenux is a complete netbook Linux distribution made for the Asus eee 701G with 2GB and 4GB SSD, but other netbooks can run it as well. Its purpose is to make this popular netbook useful once again. Its intention is to provide a fast and reliable experience out of the box with as much usability as a 7″ screen can give. It is based on Ubuntu minimal, and it contains only free software. It has the UNR menu and uses light applications and GNOME. There are no Mono or Qt applications.

· Unlike many other distros which try to be as complex as possible, Leeenux is trying to reduce Bloating. Thus many things are not installed by default, the things for which there is 99.9% you wont need. If you still need them, they can be installed via Synaptic.
